Donald Bodie

Senior Pastor

Donald received his ministers license from the IPHC in 2000 and his ordination in 2001. He went to Southwestern Christian University in 2005-2006 and received a Master of Divinity Degree. While attending graduate school he was in volunteer leadership at Life Springs Worship Center (LSWC) under Pastor Derrick Gardner. In the years after he moved from Regional Elder to Regional Pastor to being on the paid staff at LSWC.

In July 2010, he started pastoring at United Tabernacle of God, which is now named The Rescue Church. The ministry quickly brought challenges of hurting people in the church and community, and little finances to operate under. With the vision of God and his dedicated team, things turned in favor of the Kingdom and the church started to grow. We moved into our new facility in July 2021. The church owns 25 acres and has visions of great things to come. Our mission is to encourage those who know Christ and introduce Him to those who don’t.

Donald is a faithful servant of the Lord. He preaches straight from the Bible. There is no sugar-coating at The Rescue Church but there is a lot of love for Jesus! He has been married for 38 years to his lovely wife, Sonya.
